The unveiling of the alliance’s logo is anticipated on September 1 before the commencement of the day-long discussions. Chief ministers from five states and former Congress president Sonia Gandhi, among other leaders, are set to gather in Mumbai by August 31.

Meeting Highlights

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray will host a dinner for the attendees at Grand Hyatt Hotel on August 31. The following day, the meeting will convene at the same location, followed by a press conference. The opposition leaders will be treated to lunch by the Congress party’s state and Mumbai units.

Post-Meeting Plans

Following the meeting on September 1, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi might visit the state Congress headquarters. Naseem Khan, a working president of the Maharashtra Congress, highlighted the meticulous planning by leaders like Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray for the meeting’s success.

Preparations and Participation

Leaders like Aaditya Thackeray and Sanjay Raut from Shiv Sena (UBT), Congress figures Varsha Gaikwad and Milind Deora, and NCP representatives including Narendra Verma attended the recent preparatory meeting. The event aims to extend a warm traditional welcome to the visiting leaders.
